七、论文摘要
How do we think the beginning of humanism? Humanism is often defined as originating in key moments of declarations of rights: the French Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen or the American Declaration of Independence for instance. But these declarations also excluded women and people of colour. This lecture thinks the temporality of humanism and its various potentials through the thought of Frederick Douglass, Frantz Fanon, Gilles Deleuze and Hortense Spillers, among others.
